In this activity, students examine posters to identify different viewpoints on the Affordable Care Act.
The instructor shows the class a variety of posters used by individuals protesting the Affordable Care Act. The students examine each of these posters to identify the ideological and political positions represented. They also identify misinformation. After looking at the posters, they elaborate a list of arguments for and against the Affordable Care Act. In addition, the students discuss their own perspectives.
