Human Rights Comparative Case Study

In this activity, students work in pairs or groups to present and evaluate case studies on women's rights and freedom from torture.  Students are assigned case studies from Beth Simmons' Mobilizing for Human Rights.  Students present the background of the case, theoretical explanations for government compliance, and possible shortcomings of the case study analysis as presented in the book.
