Jigsaw activities have students work in groups to think about different articles. The groups then come together and share their work to produce one detailed, comprehensive document on all the articles for the week. In this particular jigsaw, students will have read six articles that address questions like "What makes a country democratize?" or "What makes a country stable?" In class, students work in groups to fill out a graphic organizer that prompts them to think about causality in two articles. The articles are grouped based on what question they address. After working in groups, the class comes together and the instructor aggregates the groups' work. For two versions of the graphic organizer, click the "Resources" tab.
