Each student has a partner and a red and black playing card to indicate which of two choices the student prefers. Each choice corresponds to a different payoff. There are five rounds and the total payoff in each round is determined by what both students in the partnership choose. The idea for this game came from a paper written by Charles A. Holt (University of Virginia, Department of Economics) and Monica Capra (Emory University, Department of Economics). For instructions and the paper, see below.
